Privacy Policy

PublishYourselfEasily (PYE) · Last updated: October 15, 2026

This policy explains how PYE handles personal information when you browse the website, sign in, purchase or read books, apply as an author or reviewer, submit manuscripts, or use free eBook tools. Certain optional features, including Google Drive integration, may not be available until they are activated.

1. Information we process

Depending on the services you use, PYE may process your account identifier, name, email address, order and payment-confirmation details, book access records, support inquiries, author or reviewer applications, private contact details, uploaded covers and manuscripts, editorial feedback, and related submission records. Information is used to provide the requested service, authenticate access, manage orders, administer submissions and reviews, respond to inquiries, and protect the platform.

2. Google sign-in and Google Drive

Signing in with Google does not itself grant PYE access to your Google Drive. If you separately choose to connect Drive, PYE requests permission to access files you select using Google's authorization and file-picker services. The planned integration uses the limited Google Drive drive.file permission, rather than requesting general access to your entire Drive.

For selected personal EPUB files, PYE is designed to store the Google Drive file ID, filename or title, file type, the associated PYE account, and the time the reference was added. Original Drive EPUB files remain in your Google Drive and are retrieved temporarily for reading in your browser. PYE does not intend to store those EPUB contents in a permanent personal-book cloud library or store Drive OAuth access tokens in its library database.

You can remove a selected file reference from PYE without deleting the original Drive file. You can revoke PYE's Google access through your Google Account permissions. A revoked, deleted or inaccessible file may remain listed until access is checked or the reference is removed; PYE cannot guarantee immediate notification of every permission change.

3. Free PDF-to-EPUB converter and personal reader

PYE's free PDF converter and personal EPUB reader are designed to process user-selected documents temporarily in the browser. They do not automatically publish personal files, add them to the marketplace, or save them as purchased books. Browser processing may load software libraries from third-party providers; ordinary technical requests and logs may be processed by those providers.

4. Author submissions and reviews

Author profiles and approved public book information may be displayed on PYE after the applicable approval and consent. Private contact information, submitted manuscript files, and editorial records are intended for authorized workflows rather than public display. Manuscript content may be processed by assigned human reviewers and configured AI services, subject to their applicable terms and retention practices, as disclosed during submission.

5. Sharing and service providers

PYE may rely on providers for authentication, hosting, database storage, payments or payment verification, file processing, communications, and editorial or AI-assisted services. Information is shared as needed to provide those functions, subject to the provider's terms and applicable law. PYE does not make users' private Drive EPUB files publicly available or sell their personal Google Drive file content.

6. Storage, retention and security

Account, purchase, entitlement, manuscript and support records may be retained as needed for service delivery, dispute handling, legal obligations, and platform integrity. Personal Drive file references remain associated with your account until you remove them or PYE removes inaccessible records through its supported cleanup processes. PYE uses access controls and other safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Specific retention periods may vary by record type and service provider.

7. Your choices and requests

You may request information about, correction of, or deletion of personal information where applicable. You may also remove individual Drive references, disconnect Drive, or revoke Google access through Google Account connections. Revoking Drive access does not automatically delete account, order, or other records required for separate PYE services.

8. Children and international use

PYE is not designed to knowingly collect personal information directly from children without an appropriate lawful basis and any required parent or guardian involvement. Users may access PYE from different countries, and service providers may process information in other jurisdictions, subject to applicable requirements.

9. Changes and contact

PYE may update this policy as its services evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the published policy and effective date. For privacy requests or questions, contact publishyourselfeasily@gmail.com or use the Contact page.
